After much searching, I finally found reasonably priced WOVEN sheets. I had no idea they were not a thing anymore. Considering my own experience with knit sheets and the burrito effect, Im surprised anyone would let their baby NEAR knit sheets. Due to the nature of woven vs. knit, they are not as soft (but still reasonably so. 100% cotton is pretty soft on its own) or stretchy, but there is adequate give in the edge elastic to make changing easy, as well as enough space to double layer in times of illness. I have not bleached them, so cannot comment on true colorfastness, but the color has stayed bright through quite a few washes on Warm, and one on Hot. I highly recommend this product.
