The screen would not stay down with the adhesive used on it ended up using airplane glue, the adhesive on the screen looked old.

This is my 2nd screen replacement in the last 2 months. Kids dropped the iPad again before we had a better case. The first screen I purchased was from a different company and was more expensive, this one seemed to be just as good of quality and came with all the same tools. No noticeable differences as far as I can tell. Being this was my 2nd screen replacement I was much more confident and it didn’t take me nearly as long. It’s definitely a detailed job but doable if you’re willing to take the time. Our old iPad is functional again and for less than $20 - so much cheaper than taking it somewhere!

Waste of money, bad quality, its as if the product didnt go through inspection criteria for functionality. Screen has dead zones that causes random swiping or opening apps. I bought three screen through Amazon from different vendors and they all have failed the same way. If you want quality buy on Fixez.com for quality OEM replacement parts, you get what you paid for and fixed once and done!

Updated: The digitizer cable must be inserted basically as much as possible I to the two FPC connectors. After a few attempts I got it positioned right and now its workin ok. Took about 2 hours to do with a very damaged screen that left a lot of broken glass pieces. Most of the time was spent picking out the broken glass. The replacement touch screen does not detect any touches. Home button works ok. Very disappointed.

The home button stopped working under 2 months. Frustrating and no way to get in touch with company....

Manufactured very cheaply and sloppily. Glass is covered in leftover hot glue. I will probably be returning this rather than taking the time to clean it to repair my little sisters iPad. I do not advise anyone buy from this manufacturer.

This was very easy to install, I received my screen at my door and it was repaired within 45 minutes. This was a great value, a button, screen, and antenna replacement. All delivered very fast and the tools that came for the installation were metal and I can re use them. The tweezers i can use for other electronic repairs. Thanks!

Great product! Everything looks just like the original Apple components. The quality of this product is top notch, but a little advice when replacing the screen. Make sure you make the connections with the home button secure. I did not and the button wouldnt work. Tried to open it back up to fix the connection and cracked the new screen. So before applying the adhesive between the iPad and the new glass. Turn on the iPad and make sure the button is working. The product wasnt to blame at all though. Just user error, but it was my first time replacing a screen and other than that the instructions and tools made it rather simple to replace.
