I first thought I would skip purchasing the case but Im glad I bought it. I use it on a motorcycle, bicycling touring, hiking and on a boat. My last 60 series hand held GPS was damaged by salt water after years of use. I like the extra protection and a place to store a charging cord and extra battery. Well made and perfect fit.

This case is pretty close to a perfect fit for the 700I and holds the charge cable plus a few other odds and ends inside the mesh pouch.
