Greater than one weekWorked great, installation was straightforward. The shelves are sturdy as long as you install into wooden studs. Theres an included cardboard measuring guide that helps a lot. They helped clear up much needed space in my garage.

> 3 dayThe wires are thick, but widely spaced, so I ended up having to put smaller items in tubs on the shelves. I would have liked a better method of securing the shelves to the brackets than velcro ties, but it works and they are snug with absolutely zero movement. They are definitely heavy duty and solid!

> 3 dayI initially purchased TWO of these kits for my garage. I liked them so much that I removed them when we relocated and theyre now hanging in my new garage. I also ordered a set of the 12 wide shelves for another area that needed narrower shelves. They are super strong! Installation is fairly easy WITH A HEX BIT AND DRILL to insert the lag screws. Depending on the power of your drill, a pilot hole may be helpful. My old corded Porter Cable hammer drill sank these lags into studs without breaking a sweat.

> 3 dayThis product was misleading. Per the photo, it looked like it was a metal shelf that was 72” long. The shelf’s came in 4 pcs. Could not put the shelf up to the 72” without modifications. Description was incorrect, also the quality is poor. In order for the shelf’s not to move back and forth, they gave you Velcro strips to tie them down. Very cheap way to secure the shelf to the brackets. Will not buy again.

> 3 dayThe brackets no doubt have vertical strength but lack horizontal or torsional strength. Could someone please give me a real piece of metal for the price? And what holds the shelf to the bracket? A 3/4 inch nylon (or similar) Velcro band that doesn’t even get near as tight as I want. Yes, it’s hours faster than building your own, no, it’s not better than you could do if you put some time in.
