Forget the cheap metal ones! These are thick, sturdy, and the rubber coating will protect the top of your doors/paint finishes and/or furniture edges. Replace the thin metal junk ones that come with over-the-door organizers with these! We used these to replace just that, for an organizer hanging off the side of my daughters loft bed. (Holding stuffies and general child hoarding items.) Would also sturdily hold bags, purses, bathrobes, towels, or a ton of weight in Saint Nicks overstuffed stockings, on his yearly visit. Multiple uses. Extremely pleased with this product.

Not only are these door hooks slip resistant they also do not scratch the doors being coated with soft rubber. Having moved into an apartment I did not want to cause any damage to the doors. These work perfectly.
