I have been keeping a saltwater aquarium for along time and am amazed at how this shows the detail on even the most common corals. It was like getting all new coral for a fraction of the price. The quality is good and the magnet attaches to the inside so the magnifying glass stays clean. I just slide it off to the side and out of the way when it’s not in use. It also works on my wife’s chameleon enclosure so I’m buying another one of my own;)

Looked pretty big on my 30 gal but there were no pictures of different sized tanks to be able to tell how it would look. Works well but at the end of the day this is a $20 product not a $40 product. Kind of absurd.

OMG I never realized what I was missing!!! I ordered the 5 inch. As you can see in the picture I posted, the size of the 5 inch laying on a magazine to put it in perspective. The magnet is plenty strong to hold it in place, the magnification from the front of my tank to the back is perfect! The details I can see thru the flipper are astonishing. Im a 30 + year marine aquarium hobbyist and with the flipper Im seeing my corals, invertebrates and fish in a whole new light, not to mention all of the tinyist of life I have been missing but now can see. If you want to see your marine environment like its the first time ever, look at it thru a flipper magnifying lenz!! You wont be disappointed as the what is that? wow oh wow hunnie come look at this! and many other reactions begin to flow!!!

I advise grabbing the submerged magnet if you want to move the glass.

Works well, we don’t even use the magnet part all the time because we use it for several tanks. Works well for seeing fry or baby shrimp and getting pictures.
