I got my first turntable in 2000 when I was 15 years old. It was an old Marantz 6110 Semi Automatic with an AT cartridge. I loved that machine and it sounded great paired with my Marantz 2220B receiver. I used that until 2012 when it gave up the ghost. My next turntable was a Technics SL-DD22 Semi Automatic which Ive used paired with a Shure cartridge until now. I always missed the feel of my heavier Marantz with its solid feeling S shaped tonearm and removable headshell.

Unbelievably AWESOME!!! Well worth the $$$! I’m glad I didn’t cheap out! The sound on the RT85 is fantastic!

I recently purchased this turntable direct from Fluance and was very unhappy. The turntable I received was defective out of the box and their customer service is atrocious. First, it isnt a very high quality turntable. Most of the $500 goes towards the cartridge. The turntable itself is below average in quality. I had tonearm issues from the start. Fluance takes days to respond to an issue. Then they accuse you of causing the issue since they have apparently never shipped a defective turntable. After days you may talk them into taking the turntable back and then you get the threats that if everything isnt packed up perfectly they wont refund any of your money. It is the worst customer service I have dealt with. It took over a week to even get a return label and two weeks later I still have no refund as they must review the return in detail to decide if they should refund anything. I know people want these because of the high quality cartridge. They send them free to influencers everywhere to make sure you have plenty of people telling you it is a steal for $500. If you get one that works maybe that is true. However, if you ever need their customer service good luck. I doubt you could ever get them to honor the two year warranty. At least if you buy it from Amazon returning it when you realize it isnt worth anywhere near $500 will be easy. I bought an Audio Technica for half the price and it works perfectly. Stick with known brands and away from these sketchy internet only companies. Their parent company is Circus World Displays and you will believe it when you deal with these clowns.

My daughter started getting into vinyl so we bought her a Bluetooth Audio Technica and BT speaker. Since we both have the same taste in music I got the bug too, but I wanted an all analog turntable setup. After doing some research I landed on the Fluance RT85.

I haven’t had a turntable since my Technics direct drive from 40 years ago. When it went bad recently I looked for an upgrade/replacement. I couldn’t be more happy with my choice. I love the acrylic platter, for both function and aesthetics, and the lack of wow and flutter with good sound to noise ratio. The sounds is warm, crisp, detailed and better than I remembered my vinyl from the days of the 70s and 80s. A great value as are all the turntables Fluance offers. Simplistic in design and operation but that adds to the overall enjoyment in my opinion. I’m thoroughly immersed in my vinyl collection again!

So far this is the best turntable I have ever heard and Ive been into music for well over 35 years. I replaced an AT LP120USB with this and it was like going from driving a Hyundai to a Cadillac. The sound quality is jaw dropping. I have some CBS Master Sound albums that sound like mud on my old turntable. They now sound like they should (the sizzling bacon noise is gone). Also the LP120 would buzz when it was not being used. The RT 85 is as quiet as a church mouse. I also noticed the RT 85 is louder than the LP120. Everything is crystal clear with the Ortofon Blue cartridge. Some of my MFSL sound like the singer is sitting in my living room with me. If your table you have now just doesnt cut it, get this one and you will be majorly happy!!!!!!

Amazing TT at amazing price. Very easy to set up, There are plenty of online videos to get it right. The sound is excellent, with a very good cartridge that tracks very well. Incredible value. Highly recommended.

Easy to setup and performs like the more expensive turntables on the market.

After 25 years of listening to cds, decided to get back into listening to vinyl..this turntable got really good reviews..only issue was that one of the adjustable feet wouldnt adjust..contacted customer support told them about the problem, was told that someone would email or call me with a possible solution..never heard from anyone.
