    This is amazing. I bought other products to cycle my tank and was never successful in doing so. I used products such as special blend and more extreme nitifying bacteria products and was never successful. I was doing constant testing of my freshwater tank to see when is the final date for my tank nitrogen cycle, and after a month still had no success with the previous products. I bought this product and within two days my tank started the cycle. Its now been a month and my tank is great. I strongly recommend this product. Fluval is the greatest.

    This is not a good protectant for cichlids. While the product does keep amonia in check, it cannot keep the nitrites down enough to keep stressing the cichilds to the point of death. I have lost over a half a dozen fish. I should have let the cycle run its course.

    Ive had lots of betta fish over the years. This time, I decided to get some of this stuff and the purple bottle. The water went crazy out of wack and my poor sweet beautiful boy died a pretty horrible death. The only difference is that I used this stuff. Cant say its the reason but I sure as hell wont be using it again.
