Fluval Rim Connector for FX5 High Performance Canister Filter

I really like the way these work, keeps your hoses nice and secure with no kinks. That being said I think fluval charges to much for most of their products. Take for instance the aqua stop valve replacement orings $10 for two, the filter takes 4, and I can buy the exact same thing at my hardware store for 30 cents each.

Works great. Doesnt seem cheap. Holds the pipe nice and tight.

I took a gamble on this for my Sunsun Canister filter, for it did not come with any way to mount to tank other than to hang the hose rite on the frame, this did not fit my canister filter, So I gave it to my neighbor and he says that this worked 10,000% better than the suction cups he had for his Marineland Canister filter.

They fit great and clamp onto the hose really tight but the only bad thing about them is that once they are on your tank that are a pain in the butt to take off

These work pretty well. I bought a couple of used filters that were missing these and replaced them. They are very tight on larger tanks, so be careful when snapping them into place.

Horrible design. If you have a rimmed aquarium get ready for a fight. They are so hard to install and will quite possibly break your aquarium. If your tank is rimless, disregard the review, youre golden, should work nice and easy. Just like in fluvals video. I want to get another fx4 but these clamps are seriously stopping me from it.

I have some rather flimsy 1inch diameter hose, and these are perfect for running them into my tank without kinks.
