My cats love their fountain. But filters need replacing. These are the prefilters that goes over the pump. They help keep the pump clean and operational. There was also a pair of cute little wicker balls in the box that my cats just love to play with.

My daughter uses these filters in her cats round stainless steel fountains and they have been great!! I really cant tell the difference between these and some others that look just the same, but these do a great job at filtering out the gunk and the hair, which is important because her cat is a long-haired cat. The price point is also really good at less than $1 per filter. My daughter changes them out every other week so that means one 16-pack lasts over half a year! But maybe the best thing is in the box were two surprise little ball toys and her cat just loves them!! Ive never seen toys like that before and he can change toy tastes on a daily basis. These were an instant hit!!

We have a small, stainless steel fountain for our foster puppies because its significantly easier to wash and maintain than the plastic options but because we have so many fosters we go through filters and foam covers really quickly so having extras on hand is crucial. The current fountains motor is round and these fit perfectly over it to act as the first layer of defense against the debris that inevitably gets into these fountains. These came flat packed in a box which makes them easy to store and it only takes a short amount of time for them to puff up a bit after removing them from the box. You can rinse these for a while before having to replace them so this box will last more than a year, which makes it a great value. I would recommend these as a useful item to keep on hand for your fountains if you have a round fountain motor.

Out the box they felt better than other ones I’ve tried, decided to review when I noticed the water stays cleaner longer with these. I would happily purchase these next time.

Having this foam around the water pump really does help keep the crud out of the water that my cat drinks. It catches so much gunk it means cleaning more often, although I try to wash it a few times before disposing of it.
