> 3 dayHi, this review is of the Koonie Foldaway Fan, 8 Inch Foldable Stand/Desk Fan up to 30 Hours Night Light Remote Control Battery or USB Powered Cordless Height Adjustable Super Quiet Fan for Home, Camping, Travel, Black (8 Inch, Black)Koonie Foldaway Fan, 8 Inch Foldable Stand/Desk Fan up to 30 Hours Night Light Remote Control Battery or USB Powered Cordless Height Adjustable Super Quiet Fan for Home, Camping, Travel, Black (8 Inch, Black). I love this little fan! I ordered it for camping and then decided to use it daily. Currently, were in the time of year when it gets very hot during the day and our bedroom is still hot at bedtime. I have had a dedicated fan in the window to blow the cool air in. I need a fan on me to be cool enough to sleep. Then about 4am, the fan is a bit much and I need to turn it off. I get a little too chilly. Since the Koonie has a remote, I dont even have to get out of bed. I had to put the old fan on a stand so that it would be high enough to reach the window. Since the Koonie fan extends, I dont have to have the ugly stand on the floor. And I dont have to deal with accidentally kicking the stand in the middle of the night after using the bathroom. Ouch! For now, I definitely give this fan 5 stars. Ill come back and update this post if it ever fails.

> 3 dayI like the design style of this fan, which can be adjusted in height and rotates automatically. You need this wireless fan when grilling in the front yard or tidying up the garden. its very windy. When turned on to the maximum wind speed, the battery life is about 5 hours. Interesting remote control design, as well as lights, it can also be used as a flashlight at night. There is a magnet on the back, which can be attached to the fan when not in use, so you are not afraid of losing it. Recommended

> 3 dayI love that this fan has a remote! It works well but the issue I have is with the base. When the fan is fully extended it can not hold the weight and falls over. It is fine if you put something heavier like a rock inside the base but I shouldnt have to do this since its advertised to be used fully extended. I like how compact it is for easy storage and the remote works well and also fits inside. I wish it worked better when it was fully extended.

> 3 dayThis is not my first Koonie fan. I have a year of use with a previous 8 black Koonie fan that I use year-round. Yes, Im that crazy person with the window open and the fan going when its 60 degrees out. I really rely on my fans and I can honestly attest to this fan being a winner. I usually leave mine plugged in all the time (usb-c) but there have been many times, including yesterday, that I put it on battery. The battery lasts for 7-8 hours if you leave the fan on speed 1. Obviously you get less time on higher speeds. They do charge as you use them, thankfully, so you can really use this fan all the time (which I do, night and day). The air flow on this fan is FABULOUS. Even speed 1 is excellent to cool you down. You can also fold this up and tuck it away somewhere very easily. Be sure when you take it out for use that you rotate the cylinder around the stand (at the bottom) to lock it when you are using it or it will fall over. There is one thing thats really important for you to know, that concerns all of these smaller size fans, not just this brand. Now, Im not some kind of air flow/hvac/ventilation expert, but I do know that in hotter rooms you might get what Ive heard called an air lock. Youll know this is happening because the fan will be spinning and seem to be fine but you wont feel any air from it. I thought my first 8 fan was broken because of this and sent it back. oops. Its not broken, you just have to break that lock. Take the fan by its stand with the fan facing you and dip it back and forth from vertical to horizonal and vertical again until the air starts flowing again. Trust me youll know because the sound changes and the air flow is magnificent. I dont know why it happens, or that it will happen to you at all, but this room gets up to 80 degrees during the day and it always happens when the room is hotter and never when the room is below 77 degrees. I HIGHLY recommend these fans if you are looking for this size. Has remote, has light, oscillates beautifully without changing position on the table if you use it table-top, and just has such good air flow. You wont be disappointed.

22-11-2024It folds up small, but can get tall. It’s quiet, but moves a ton of air. It can be usb powered, or cordless. It has a remote and it makes cute beeps. It can be stationary or oscillate, and the whole machine rotates from the base when it oscillates, so it looks really cool. Mine’s in my kitchen, and it’s my new best friend. I’m definitely never traveling without it. I wish I could give it more than five stars! I love it.

> 3 dayAs far as portable/ rechargeable fans are concerned, this one is on the top tier of that list. It is super high quality. Its hard to believe its been running for 2 days straight without recharging the unit. I had it running on low and the oscillation was turned off. The fan folds to a small form factor for easy transport. The fan portion folds out then it get locked down by tightening the sleeve on the base of the post. There is a small remote included that magnetically attaches to the front of the fan. The motor is ultra quiet and the blades produce good air movement. Keep in mind that this fan has a massive 10000 mHa battery so expect it to take a while to fully charge. The fan has a usb port so it can double as a powerbank. There is a long usb-c cable included so you can run this as it is charging. Super buy.

> 3 dayIve had other similarly designed fans and I find that this one with a seven blade fan vs. a three blade fan in other brands, is quieter and delivers more air flow. It also has a higher capacity battery which should result in longer running times at any speed. The light option is relatively useless, but would provide some general illumination in a tent or other space that has no lighting. Also, like other fans of similar design, this fan has a natural wind setting in addition to the standard low, medium, high settings. I personally find such a setting to be of no value. When Im running or cycling the breeze if feel is mostly due to how fast Im running or cycling; the ambient changes in wind speed are not significant. So this option that changes the fan speed in a pseudo random fashion is of no interest to me. Bottom line, the two options that do not matter much to me can be ignored and the basic functionality of the fan suits my needs perfectly - especially as I run on a home treadmill.

Greater than one weekFirst off this fan is packed with some pretty nice features. It has 4 speeds with LED indicators. Its got a good weight to it and it oscillates. It is a bit shaky when oscillating. Like it isnt perfectly balanced. And on speed 2 the battery didnt make it through the night. I really dont think its likely that this can get 50 hrs of use as advertised. It is very well made and the remote is well made. The remote is a little disk and doesnt feel good in the hand. But it has a built in light and charges via USBC so it has that going for it. The fan also has a USB port for charging your devices. I dont know that I would spend $70 on this fan but it is very useful.

> 3 dayI grabbed this because I live in a house with no ceiling fans, so some rooms get a bit stuffy. Previously, we had been using standard standing fans, but those end up a bit bulky and a pain to move from room to room, so when I saw this, I had to give it a try. I have to say, its quite a nice design. It folds down for easy storage when not in use, and is fully height adjustable. The fan has decent airflow while also remaining quiet, making it great for bedtime. Itll fit easily on a nightstand, or on the floor without taking up much room. It oscillates easily at the base, which is nice to see. There is even a remote tucked into the base, which is always a welcome inclusion. Finally, it charges via standard USB-C, so no worries about having issues finding the charger. I have to say, I am impressed with the overall product here. I am very happy to recommend this one.
