I wanted to love this. My hands fit it and it was darling. However, I dont know how people make the mouth open and shut while putting their other fingers in the frogs arms. I guess my fingers (on either hand) dont work that way. I was so disappointed and I must be the only person in the world to have this issue. :( I wanted a puppet where I could make it talk and use its arms, and sadly, this isnt it.

Bought this hand puppet some time ago and it’s still going strong with my grand daughter. She asks for him all the time as it entertains her on our end. He even has a name “Mr. Pickles”. Searched wide and far for the right hand puppet and he is most definitely one of the ones to have.

I bought this puppet for my 1-year-old niece. She really adores it. When she sees the frog her entire face lights up, she gives it hug, and pats it on the head. The arms move really well, the eyes are big and shiny, and the mouth can open and close easily to give kisses or eat snacks. All of these features are essential for a good puppet, and help to make it more life-like and fun. I also have the hedgehog puppet from Folkmanis, but it’s a bit stiffer and doesn’t move as freely as the frog. For that reason, the frog is definitely the household favorite and one I would recommend to anyone looking to entertain or interact positively with children.

My special needs son loves frogs. It can be quite difficult to find gifts he enjoys for Christmas and birthdays. We purchased this frog for him last Christmas, and it was the best $15 I have ever spent. He carries his ribbit around everywhere. After 3 months of daily use, the frog has help up incredibly well. The puppet shows no signs of wear or tear, which gives credit to how well made it is (my son is incredibly hard on toys). I am considering buying a couple as back-up in case ribbit ever gets misplaced!

    Greater than one week

This is one of my favorite puppets ever. So easy to manipulate and can do so many things with its mouth to make expressions. I can make it sit criss cross like i want my pre-k kids to sit and can use the hands or mouth. Can even make the throat go out like a frog croak. Seriously cute little froggy. HIGHLY recommended to have in your puppet collection. large enough for my hand but could fit a kid hand pretty easily.
