> 3 dayDo not buy this unless you want to waste 3 hours of your life and still be left with a half-attached digitizer. The adhesive that comes preinstalled doesnt hold. Others mentioned this in the reviews and for some reason those prior comments have been removed. I dont care if the seller tries to refund my purchase. As a warning to others I will not be removing this comment. I spent a ton of time clean off all of the old adhesive to make sure this digitizer had a clean surface. It didnt matter. Even after being clamped with 15 clamps for 24 hours it still didnt hold. What a waste of time!! Do not buy. Id also like to know why the older comments warning of this problem were removed; incredibly shady and a reason why purchasing on Amazon is going downhill.

> 3 dayThe written instructions do not include that you need to heat up the screen edges to loosen up the glue. We used both written and the video to do it. Was able to do this in under 30 mins.

> 3 dayThis product is what you need and works well IF you are up for the task. Replacing an IPad screen is not as simple as replacing a screen on an iphone. I would recommend a clean workspace and a lot of patience. The product itself is great and if you can save $$$ instead of buying a new ipad. I replaced the screen for my daughter and it works.
