> 24 hourI received a complimentary copy of this book in return for my review. I had a hard time at the beginning keeping up with the different characters but once I to into it, I could not put it down. I liked that this was told by different characters. It was a heart warming story of connecting with lost loves and finding a family you have been wanting your whole life. I definitely hope to read more from this author!

> 24 hourby Robyn Bradley is a great read. It captured my interest from the outset and I really enjoyed the way the author told the story from the perspective of a different character in each chapter. I received complimentary copy of the book in exchange for my review and I really wasnt certain I would like it. I was not disappointed! Robyn Bradley has crafted a thoughtful and relevant story that brings out the fact that we must deal with our past in order to go forward into our future. I also enjoyed the way the stories of the different characters were interwoven and demonstrated that it really IS a small world; we would probably all be amazed at how closely we are connected with one another if we just took the time to look. I would definitely recommend this book.

> 24 hourI thought this book wasnt a easy read and I got a little confused (but I get confused a lot anyways lol ) .This story kinda bounces around but other than that this was a good read. Storyline and characters were great. This is not the usual kind of book I would read but it was very good.

> 24 hourThe idea behind Robyn Bradleys Forgotten April is a good one. A famous reporter finds that she is adopted and tracks down her birth mother who is now in the Alzheimers unit of a nursing home. The reporters sister is the activities director. Both sisters are dealing with losses and griefs from their past, and the book deals with how they build and mend relationships and reclaim a life for themselves. I was hoping for contemporary womens fiction that went beyond the sex, shoes and shopping of chick lit. With being widowed, losing a child, the illness of a parent and struggling to find a passion in a career, the issues of Forgotten April might be more serious, but the book disappoints. The story is told primarily through dialogue. The conversations between characters move the plot forward, but they never quite bring the characters to life. April, Maggie, their friends and lovers feel like good, two dimensional sketches. You want more, but it just falls short. There is enough potential in this book to look for more from Robyn Bradley, but this effort, like its title implies, is easily forgotten. I received a free copy of Forgotten April for Kindle from Bookrooster.com and agreed to do a review. No other compensation or conditions were involved.

> 24 hourForgotten April by Robyn Bradley is a story that speaks to most women who have reached the age in their life that everything doesnt turn out as we had planned. The sorrows and traumas of life change our perspectives while at the same time we develop protective ways to handle those sorrows and traumas. At first glance, the switching of character stories was a little confusing, but after getting used to the flow of the story, it made sense. The lives of each character were so intertwined, it was a necessary ebb and flow to the story. The character development allows the reader to grow with the character and experience the emotions of the characters. I received a complimentary copy of this book in order to review it. Once I was into the story line, it was a book that was difficult to put down.

> 24 hourI received a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. When I initially read the book description I did not get overly excited about it. I accepted the challenge and I am very glad I did. This book was awesome. It was hard to put down. The character and story development are well thought out with many surprises along the way. One caution, the writer writes each chapter by character, iniially this was a challenge, however, once into the book the reader will get the hang of it! This was a book that was hard to put down. I am excited to present these comments!

> 24 hourI thoroughly enjoyed Forgotten April by Robyn Bradley. I am always looking for new authors with a great writing style. Bradley does a very good job of introducing the characters in an honest way - I appreciate the idea that April and her newly found sister are not perfect. They each have their own life issues that many of us can relate to. Lost love, death and an ailing mother with Alzheimers are shared with the reader in a way that makes you want to know more about each character. I enjoyed the buidling of trust and new relationships in this book and the idea that although we have all made mistakes, its never too late to build a relationship with our family. After all, we cant choose our family but we can choose how we relate to each other. I would look forwad to reading more books from Bradley. I received this book from Bookrooster.com at no charge to review.

> 24 houris one of the best books I have read in awhile (and I read A LOT of books). The struggles and complexities of each character were so true to life and I found myself feeling as if I really knew them, a sign of really good writing. You will enjoy getting to know the cast of characters: April, Maggie, Hugh, Nigel, Hazel, etc. You will smile and you will cry but you will never be the same after reading this truly wonderful book! Put this on your must-read list. :-)I received a complimentary copy of this book in order to review it. Robin
