I used this specifically for resurfacing my Blackstone. I went with fine wire thinking it would be better finish. I should have gone with a coarse wire. It did the job, just took more time. For a 36” griddle, I went through 2 of these. Towards the end of the project, wires began flying off the wheel.

Generally use 4 Black & Decker fine wire wheel brushes. Tried these and they dont last very long and are not nearly as good a product as the Black & Decker.

The Forney 4 inch fine wire wheel works well for removing cracking paint on wood trim. It has lasted through about 6 hours of medium use and still looks and works like new. I would purchase again.
