Fox High Pressure Shock Pump

Got this for my 8 y/o hardtail with a RockShox Reba Race fork. I had never checked the air pressure in the fork but I knew it was soft. It took me less than 5 minutes to put air in the upper and lower reservoirs and now my air shock is much better. This pump is pretty cheap and pretty effective. I should have bought this years ago.

This pump leaks air every time you disconnect it from shock... that means whatever reading you had it dialed in on will go down every time you disconnect. THAT means you will never have an accurate air pressure in your shock and anyone that cares enough to buy the pump should care about that. get a TWO STAGE pump that can lock the air in the shock before it disconnects ... big letdown from fox. pretty junky tool for a company that makes the premier forks for mtb

Compact and well made

Arrived today and used it immediately on my Cannondale Jekyll-- worked beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised at how little effort was necessary to achieve such high pressure, but then again, Im 6 250+ lbs, so if I cant pump it easily-- thats a major problem. Anyway, it was smooth, easy to use and did the trick with little effort. Note that when using this, you need to over pump just a bit to compensate for the slight amount of pressure that will leak as you unscrew it from the shock. Some people freak out over it-- i just deal with it easily enough by one or two extra pumps. For $30, it feels like a solid piece of equipment that will give me years of service.
