Greater than one weekAs I have gotten better at mountain biking I have shed my long sleeved protection in favor of this vest. The best is very light as I like the fact that there is adequate protection in the shoulders while not feeling bulky! It has two quick release straps so that you can easily take off without much effort It is also very breathable as there are perforation holes… Buy with confidence for mountain biking! I have heard of others using for Quad or motorcycle riding as I would not do that… I would add that I do use elbow pads as there is no elbow protection
