I have smoker downstairs neighbors and for some reason the smoke mixes in with my AC return sometimes. I put this into the return vent and it made the conditioned air smell fresher and less musty. It also made me feel safer to put this mixed with my air because it had more natural ingredients than some other smoke-fighting fresheners

It works fine. I placed 2 in my basement and you smell the mint scent.

I needed this to cover up the cat box smell. I used just one and it did a better job then anything else Ive tried. You really dont smell anything.

The product works as advertised. We had a bedroom with a musty smell, because it is closed all the time. We open the product and placed it under the bed. The next day, the odor was gone and it had a pleasant scent. I will purchase this product again. It is helpful to add water to keep the product moist and it will last longer.

Keep one in the kitchen - no garbage, fish,nor strong ethnic food smells linger. Keep one in my office - probably not needed but no stale smells (room has slab foundation below), I cant quite figure out the scent...you can only smell with your nose right up to the top of the gel-containing jar. Kind of like outdoors mixed with a mans aftershave. Pleasant - not floral, not perfume-ish. Safe for pets should it ever dump over and some gel spill out.

OK, so, I love Indian food, just not my entire apartment smelling like it from the neighbors upstairs every single day. Yes, it’s THAT pungent that it permeates DOWNWARD, and I can only imagine what it’s like in the apartment above. I have 3 air purifiers running around the clock, candles, charcoal HVAC filters, Febreeze, air freshener sprays, etc., but these odor abosrbers are the ONLY thing that have really helped to get the smell cleared out. Every few days, I suppose when a lot of cooking is going on, the smell still makes its way through, but these do seem to soak it up after a little while even then. These are definitely staying strategically placed all over my house from now on!

I have three dogs, and no matter how many products Ive used in the past, from sprays, plugins, scented wax bricks, reed diffusers, activated charcoal packs, etc., nothing seemed to work well. Most of them only masked the dog smell, and some did a poor job of that. And this was on top of daily vacuuming, washing their bedding and dusting weekly, and giving the dogs a bath once per month minimum, the whole 9 yards. While scent absorbing beads are by no means anything new (I bought some from a different brand well over 6 years ago), Fresh Wave does something different. They are far superior. I can be out of the house for the entire day, and when I walk in the door Im not slapped with that dog smell. Its a pleasant neutral smell in the house. My only complaint is that Im a frequent sous vide/cast iron skillet user, and it doesnt stand-up as well as Id like against the skillet, but it still helps the odor dissipate faster than nothing, especially if the weather outside isnt appropriate to open a window or 2. In a few days, I will have had this two pack for a month, and the beads have only half evaporated in each container, so Ive still got a ways to go. If I had to do anything different with this purchase, I would have bought a 3 pack instead of just 2. Ill definitely be buying these for as long as my fur babies are around.

I put two of these in a fairly small (4 x 3) musty closet and they didnt do a great job of eliminating the odors. They smell good close-up but I didnt even smell them once I was about a foot away. There is still a very pervasive old clothing smell that I just cant get rid of and was really hoping these would be the magic bullet.
