I have been blessed with an olfactory system that smells EVERYTHING. I can smell someone chewing gum ten feet from me. It’s nuts, I should work in an airport with the dogs used to sniff out stuff. I’m telling you, I would be a consistent employee of the month. The dogs would be pissed. Anyway, there are 3 pets abiding in our small home. One dog, two cats. In the winter my basement gets stuffy. In the summer we open the windows at night, but you dont really want to do that when its below zero. I also have a cold store room in my basement, so the roots and veggies contribute to some of the odors. We also have the access point there for our sump pump for springtime flooding and it can toss out some interesting smells. Finally, its also where the cat box is and a bathroom that has no window and no fan (hey, I didnt build the house!). I just have one of these hanging out in a central location and it works great! No fun basement smells and it lasts longer than the jar says it will. I think one last 2-3 months, havent really paid attention to exactly how long. We have 3 indoor cats. In our old house we kept the litter boxes in the garage with a pet door. We moved and that’s no longer possible. We keep things clean, but sometimes things get a little stinky. We only need one of these, but it’s great that we’ve got another one to use in a few months when the original is no longer effective. Everyone breathes easier now.

I have three dogs, and no matter how many products Ive used in the past, from sprays, plugins, scented wax bricks, reed diffusers, activated charcoal packs, etc., nothing seemed to work well. Most of them only masked the dog smell, and some did a poor job of that. And this was on top of daily vacuuming, washing their bedding and dusting weekly, and giving the dogs a bath once per month minimum, the whole 9 yards. While scent absorbing beads are by no means anything new (I bought some from a different brand well over 6 years ago), Fresh Wave does something different. They are far superior. I can be out of the house for the entire day, and when I walk in the door Im not slapped with that dog smell. Its a pleasant neutral smell in the house. My only complaint is that Im a frequent sous vide/cast iron skillet user, and it doesnt stand-up as well as Id like against the skillet, but it still helps the odor dissipate faster than nothing, especially if the weather outside isnt appropriate to open a window or 2. In a few days, I will have had this two pack for a month, and the beads have only half evaporated in each container, so Ive still got a ways to go. If I had to do anything different with this purchase, I would have bought a 3 pack instead of just 2. Ill definitely be buying these for as long as my fur babies are around.

This was great to get some kitchen smells out when cooking foods that tend to smoke up the kitchen! Also great for your garage if you have to store your trash cans in your garage!

Put them in my living room and havent really noticed much. When you get within 5-6 feet of them you can smell them.

Very nice product especially for bathrooms

I put one of these on top of my fridge and replace every other month or so and it seems to be helping with the smells from garbage, food etc. that lingers in the kitchen and house.
