I put one of these on top of my fridge and replace every other month or so and it seems to be helping with the smells from garbage, food etc. that lingers in the kitchen and house.

In the winter my basement gets stuffy. In the summer we open the windows at night, but you dont really want to do that when its below zero. I also have a cold store room in my basement, so the roots and veggies contribute to some of the odors. We also have the access point there for our sump pump for springtime flooding and it can toss out some interesting smells. Finally, its also where the cat box is and a bathroom that has no window and no fan (hey, I didnt build the house!). I just have one of these hanging out in a central location and it works great! No fun basement smells and it lasts longer than the jar says it will. I think one last 2-3 months, havent really paid attention to exactly how long. I really like the fact that it doesnt smell like something. I just smell clean air.

I was at my wit’s end. Like many folks, I sit in a cubicle and am surrounded by other cubicles. I think there are hundreds of them on my floor. The man who sat on the other side of my wall ate a lot of curry. He actually ate so much curry that it seeped out of his pores (like garlic does when you eat a lot of garlic). The thing is – the ‘seeping out curry’ smelled abominable. I tried plug-ins. I tried Febreeze. I tried Oust. I even tried putting vapor rub under my nose so I wouldn’t smell it, until I realized that sitting in that smell all day resulted in MY SMELLING LIKE CURRY TOO. I don’t even like curry. I mentioned it to a manager, who understood, but said he couldn’t help. He suggested I call Human Resources, but I was afraid to do that. Personal grooming is a touchy subject. Desperate, I took my plea to FaceBook and begged my friends for help. And one of them, blessed soul that she is, mentioned this product. I ordered it that night. It was pricey, but if it worked… oh, if it worked… it would be WORTH EVERY PENNY. I brought it in, placed it by the wall and waited. Some of the other reviews indicate that it has a strong odor. While I wouldn’t suggest putting it to your nose and breathing deeply, it didn’t bother me from 2 feet away. It took about 30 minutes, but miraculously, the curry smell began to dissipate. And 30 days later… it’s much better. Don’t get me wrong, on certain days, when it’s 100 degrees outside and pretty hot inside, I still smell CurryMan, but compared to what it was before I used this product… no comparison. I heartily, unequivocally recommend this product. FIVE STARS. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I hope this was helpful.

I cannot say enough about this fresh wave odor eliminator, I had an odor in my bathroom closet for months, I tried a lot of stuff even setting a bowl of Pine sol in there all it did was mix with the odor and made the odor even worse smelling. Finally come across this stuff here and read the reviews and said what the hey.....I am SO GLAD I DID...IT KILLED THE ODOR IN LESS THAN A WEEK...I will definitely order more once I run out... that is for sure...

Okay - this product is expensive, I know! BUT its worth it! As a mom to two super-shedding fur babies and someone who is out of the house A LOT, my home gets stinky quick! Any room or piece of furniture that my pups have access to gets that musty, dog smell in no time, but is almost impossible to get out. This stuff has made my nose so happy! I have used them (so far) in our guest bedroom, which is also home to two dog crates that the pups sleep in at night, and in the master bedroom where the pups sleep with me when the hubs is at work overnight. In both rooms the smells were eliminated overnight after putting the gel containers out! Also, the gel really doesnt have a strong smell in-and-of itself; it has a very light pine smell if you stick it under your nose and take a big whiff, but in the room it simple eliminates odors. We also got the spray from Fresh Wave and love that as well! I spray it on my couch, their beds, and the carpet 2-3x per week, and it totally gets rid of the doggy smell! That being said, it doesnt have a strong, lingering smell. Its extremely pleasant smelling when you spray it, but within 15 or so minutes that smell, and any others, has dissipated and left the fabric with pretty much no smell. I would highly recommend both of these products to anyone who struggles with stubborn odors!
