Freud 04-108: 1/4 (Dia.) Double Flute Straight Bit, Pack of 1, Perma-shield Coating Red

Highly recommend. Works flawlessly after 4 big projects. Looks like it will be easy to sharpen.

In need of a larger end mill for a smaller CNC router, and this worked perfectly.

Great bit for the money.

Although this isnt the fanciest bit, Freud always gives you the most carbide on your bit and they seem to last well.

I guess the old bits were pretty bad! Cant believe the difference in the cut quality Im getting...

I used this bit to cut channels for plexiglass windows I’m installing in a four door barn style bypass closet DIY. The channels were cut in two passes at three consecutive depths and needed absolutely no sanding whatsoever! I’m looking forward to seeing what other kind of trouble I can get myself into with this nice bit after my remodel is complete.

I put this bit in and it broke in less than 5 cutting 1/2. It just broke enough off to shorten the length of my bit. I tried it again later and it broke into 3 more pieces just touching the bit to the wood this time. I was unable to find one small piece for a photo. Unsure of how to contact the seller on here. My husband said it should had not broke like that way that we could had just gotten one with a fault in the metal, our cheap cheap china bits do not even do this. Very disappointed!

In my opinion you just cant beat Freud. This bit is so much better than the craftsman bit I was using until it broke the other day. I wish the old bit had broken ages ago!

Ummm the attached label says 1/4 straight 1/4 shank BUT its a Bevel Trim bit 8 degree as the manufacturers label says. Now what?
