> 3 dayRegular 3/4 plywood fits perfectly in the dado with no visible gap. Have to tap longer pieces in with a rubber hammer, obviously cause no plywood is perfect. Excellent bit. Advice: If you polyurethane or paint plywood some plywood and try to get it into the dado it gets TIGHT. Still doable though.

> 3 dayThis is a nice bit for routing dados into boards. Does not plunge holes very well tho. I know I should have got an up-cut spiral bit but I read an answer to a question on the product page saying it could plunge holes. It was burning its way through the holes before I gave up and used a drill with a fostner bit to finish the rest.I just hope I can get all the burn residue build up off the bit to use it for dado slots going forward. Its been soaking in goo-gone for a few days now so we will see...

> 3 dayI use this to profile the inside of my jewelry box cutting stepped tray supports. Works very smoothly and a super clean cut.!

> 3 dayCuts beautifully clean and flat mortices for hinges. I just wish the bearing was the same diameter as the cutters, to make using a template easier (you have to allow for the slightly larger bearing size). A valuable addition to my router bit collection.

> 3 dayI used this router bit to clean out the center section on a coffee table I built several years ago. With the use of a routing edge guide I was able to remove the old wood to a 3/8 inch depth. The bearing was ran along the inside edge Of the edge guide to complete a precisely machined edge. This allowed for the new center section to be replaced. The included photo shows the completed center section.

> 3 dayIve been a Diablo/Freud fan since my first Diablo saw blade. I was almost about to quit woodworking because my cuts on my table saw were terrible, had a Skil saw with Skil blades. It did the job but tearout was terrible. Tried to upgrade amount of teeth, got an Irwin blade, the blade itself developed Nasty Burn marks and left Burn marks on every cut. At this point I almost gave up. Then I opted to pay a bit more and try the powder coated Diablo blades. Every single cut was professional quality! I vowed to never buy any other brand other than Freud/Diablo! Everything from saw blades to even sandpaper never let me down! I just really really wish they made carbide band saw blades!!!! Seriously, the day you try it you will never go back. With this router bit, there is absolutely NO TEAR OUT NO MATTER HOW FAST YOU GO. Which you shouldnt rush a router bit cut but even if you for some reason do, you will be surprised! I was a little skeptical because of the angle, maybe it didnt cut 1/2 all the through the groove it it does! That slight angle cleanly slices through Walnut like its poplar! The shavings look like planer shavings! This thing is a monster!!! The pictures are after I cut (8) 16 x 1/2 deep grooves on walnut and not a carbide chip or paint chipping in sight! If you get the chance to get a Freud product, youll never settle for less. The brown stuff is the walnut dust.

> 3 dayFreud is still making great products! 5 stars! Another awesome company prime for corporate raiders to destroy. I hope they keep their Mitts off of this one.

Greater than one weekThe bit itself appeared cuts easily and appeared well made, but the bearing seized within a few minutes...or might have been from start. Alas, I failed to check before using. Granted i was mortising in white oak, but took shallow passes (less than 1/4), cleaned between each pass... And no, the bit is not inserted too deeply into the collet. I have been using a much smaller bit on same project....from a much less respected manufacturer, and its performed just fine.... Though much more time consuming. I have several freud bits/blades. Until now, Ive had great luck. Ill have to return this one.

> 3 dayI love this bit. Made surfacing a cutting board easy. Like slicing butter with a hot knife.
