As I was not expecting too much of a difference from a standard brush or specialized pet comb, but it does much better than both of those alternatives, especially for the difficult to thin out undercoat. The tool is a snap to clean - and the cat took to it well, though it did not get her high grades as the bristles were not as long as other cleanup devices, so the scratching of her chin was less than satisfactory :) . The other brushes can and will do that task alone.

I have two bangle cats and this works fabulous to get the undercoat out. And they enjoy it which makes the whole experience better!

I absolutely loved the old version. This one doesnt brush out knots in the fur.

If your pet sheds, just get this one. Sturdy, works great. Easy to clean. My cat loves it.

I dont think I really need to explain myself on this one, this product has always been top notch. I have tried so many different types of de-shedding brushes for my pets and none has worked as good as this brand. If you are tired of wasting your money on crappy brushes for your pets I encourage you to buy this one, it is life changing in my opinion

I pulled out so much hair with just the first swipe. I wish I bought this the first day I adopted my babies. Hopefully no more hair balls! They seem to enjoy the way it feels too. Highly recommend!!

It works so well it’s basically a haircut. I’ve been buying cheaper brushes that look just like this one for years, and yes they work, but not nearly as well as the brand name. The Furminator feels sturdier, the brush stays sharper, and it desheds even more undercoat.
