I havent really put these to the test yet (or, rather, my kid hasnt), but they feel sturdy. For a standalone open metal shelving unit, I just used one anchor (affixed to the wall with drywall anchors) and looped the thin cable around an upright piece of the shelf frame.

Do not buy these. I tested the strength of the cord with my hands before instillation and I was able to break them by hand by just pulling the cord in it’s locked position. I don’t know if this is normal or a manufacturer error but it isn’t something im willing to risk with my children.

Like this a lot better than the ones they have that use zip ties. Makes you feel more confident it’ll hold the furniture. Only downside I couldn’t adjust the length but overall I would use this again over another product.

As toddler are very curious this was a must have for us since I had two pieces of furniture in their room that where definitely not sturdy and could top over easy.

Solid design. I feel confident that my shelving unit will not tip over. It was a little difficult for me to thread the wire together, in part because I looped it twice to pull the top of my shelving unit closer to the wall. My shelving unit is approx 68 inches tall and the top was leaning a little further away from the wall than the base. Once I used zipties to ensure the right distance from the wall, I was able to thread the wire fairly easy.

Finally installed it on my media shelf that was leaning since i got it and movies kept slipping off of. Installed this bad boy only one of them and its been holding it up straight so well so far, so Id day its def worth checking out

This item arrived quickly and worked as expected. I think its better and more secure than the anchors with fabric straps I have used in the past.
