Greater than one weekThe Kasa was the first smart plug I ever bought and, to be honest, I’m really tempted at this point to go overboard and automate ALL my plugs. Right now, I use it for the Christmas tree lights. Bonus: watching my grand-nephew try to give Alexa the light command, but he can’t quite articulate it well. There may not be a single “killer app” for home automation, but at this point, I’m game for the thousands cuts process!

> 3 dayIf I had known the smart plugs burn out or stopped working I would have never bought them it has not been a year yet and two of them are already burnt out they will not reset and they wont turn anything on or off!!

Greater than one weekAfter the update to iPadOS 16.3.1 the app ceased connecting to the plugs for longer than 15 seconds. This makes it very hard to manually turn devices on/off, and impossible to reset the time the come on automatically. When I tried to report this, the web site came back saying that the app has no support beyond the FAQ. I contacted the company directly, and have not received a response. The company has responded, and refunded my purchase.

> 3 daySet up t washis easy and initially worked really great. We have a number of them installed in a weekend home so there is very little usage. Two of the four have now failed. We came back after being away for a month and they no longer would work. You can push the on off button and it will click on for a second and right back off. Recommend you stay away from these!

> 3 dayThese are easy to setup and use. I have them setup on my phone for my laser so I can turn my laser and fan on and off at the same time easily. I am going to put one on our Smart TV also so when I need to do a power cycle, I will not need to crawl up under the stand that is in front of the plug.

> 3 dayI bought them 6 month ago and they all 4 stopped working. They worked great at first have grow lights and set up on timers they just stopped working and not connected to net work. Two on the app there turned on but the plug was dead
