> 3 dayThese carabiners are 1/3 of the weight of the steel ones that came with out hammocks. However, with a nearly 200lbs person sitting in the hammock the wire gate came off the hook just a little. Meaning the carabiner had enough flex to widen the opening just slightly. The hammock was not at risk of the strap slipping out but I am concerned about the carabiner breaking or stretching over time. Thankfully that individual is not the one using the carabiners. Those of us that are using them all weigh under 140lbs. Guess I wont be using these in a double hammock though. I had no need for the key ring clips at this point, these were just the best deal with the colors I wanted.
