Gahring Machine Forced Entry Aluminum Wedge 6061-T6

For the money this is the best forcible entry tool. We beat the crap out of it. I have since went back and bought one for my whole shift

Purchased for an who is a volunteer firefighter who is making a career of firefighting and has been tested and effective.

If you don’t want to spend 40+ on the 8 wedge than this is perfect for you. I pair it with my badaxx and put a slight edge on it to get a better purchase point. It also comes with the bundgie which helps pair to which ever tool you want to use it with.

You get what you pay for.

Great product, great price. I’ve used it multiple times on an engine co and truck co within the past couple months.

This wedge has very soft metal that will warp and create sharp edges quickly, requiring grinding to maintain after each use. Also, it came with the edge of the wedge uneven, requiring immediate maintenance to make it right. Would not recommend this product, go with something more high quality.

Pairs up great with a Pro bar

Good product... very helpful for single person forcible entry... I drive this tool right in and it gaps the door and allows me to get a good purchase to force a door open.

Works great

Will the wedge do the job, yes. However the lines are not straight and the edges are rounded and some have a sharp point. Seems like the company just punched a bunch out and could careless about how it looks.
