> 3 dayI bought this at the same time I bought the game. I only started using it recently, and the factions are difficult to use. However, the Tleiaxu do have an OP move. They can swap their forces with any winner in any battle with their own if the leader played matches any of the traitor or face-dancer cards in their hand. Pretty awesome

Greater than one weekIf you’ve already played the base game a lot this may be a worthwhile product for you; however, I would highly recommend getting a feel for what parts of the expansion you do and do not like and playing piecemeal only what you do. Some of the new cards feel like they stifle interesting gameplay, (shieldsnooper and poison blade, most notably) some cards have situation use but feel terrible to ever draw, (harvester is the worst offender) but some cards are brilliant and add positively to the base game (chemistry and weirding way are great additions). The new factions are also a mixed bag - there’s hardly a consensus among my group as to this point, but I think the Tleilaxu are remarkably unfun to play as or against, but the Ix are solid. Even if you do like the Tleilaxu, be sure not to play them in the same game as the Emperor and the Spacing Guild, as the over abundance of spice unbalances the game’s economy. tl;dr — worth it if you’ve played enough of the base game to find it somewhat stale and want to mix it up
