I really like the wind proof umbrellas that open and close the opposite way. It makes it much easier going in and out of the car. This umbrella is very pretty with the design on both sides. Most tend to be black on top and design on the underneath side. I like the fact that its not black on top as I am more likely to use it on extra sunny days in the hot summer as well.

This review comes from northern California where we are praying for some more rain, so i cant speak to how well this really functions yet, but it seems sturdy, a nice weight, a perfect size, and really pretty from both above and below. Like the opening outward strategy for climbing out of the car or walking out a door, if I do get the opportunity to check it out during a normal rain storm for our climate.
