> 3 dayVery cool, but DO NOT allow this to get in your carpet or clothes. It is extremely hard to get off of surfaces and leaves a residue on your hands when used. Wear gloves! When hot, it runs faster than water because its heavy, so it will spill very easily.

> 3 dayPut in the tube but it is really not easy to get this out or even cut a piece of it. Could have been done in better packaging that would allow easy removal and manipulation.

> 3 dayI had a heck of a time getting it out of the tube. I had to heat up water to 200 degrees and let the tube sit in it for a good 10-15 minutes before I could pour it out. I poured it into the ziplock bag it came in and layed it flat in my fridge. I wanted it thinner to see if body heat could melt it. After it solidified and thinned out to about 2mm thick, I left it in the bag and put it my armpit and sat and watched tv for about 10 minutes. Might sound weird, but its probably the most consistently warm place on my body without you know... inserting it anywhere. To my surprise, only a paper thin layer had melted. I dont know if this is normal or if maybe this batch isnt as pure as Id hoped, but... its still kinda neat so I gave it 4 stars. I expected it to be much more... melty. *sad face*

> 3 daySuper cool! Got this as a gift. It really melts, slowly, in my hand if my hand is warm enough. Melts at 85 F / 30 C and when melted it looks like mercury but this stuff is not toxic. Did a little research and found that it is not toxic in its pure form but I wouldn’t intentionally eat it. It was a bit difficult to remove from the vial it came in. The trick is to submerge the vial in hot water (I used hot water from the tap) until the outer layer melts. Then the entire slug slides right out. Keep it away from carpet. If you spill some on a hard floor, let it cool and then scrape it off with a credit card. It leaves a gray residue on your hands that takes a little work to remove. Just scrub with soap and warm/hot water. Gallium is fun to play with and to show friends.
