Original 4-star review It feels super great to type on and the lights are super customizable, I have had it only a week and the only downside is that it has already run out of battery once, so the battery life is very disappointing to me. Otherwise I love it and think it is amazing, as my first mechanical keyboard I knew I wanted a low-profile one and this keyboard is great. I use it with the USB Dongle, not bluetooth so I cant say how well the bluetooth works. UPDATE 2/1/2023 - now 5 stars from 4 Battery life takes huge hit if you have the lights on for the keys all of the time. It will practically last forever (at least a month) if you only use the front lightbar, or the keyboard lights at night. So during the day, I leave the keyboard lights off and turn them on once it gets dark. The keyboard battery then lasts a very long time.

I never knew how good a mechanical keyboard felt until i picked this up. Im not a PC Gamer by any stretch of the imagination. Up until now a keyboard was just utilitarian in nature. The keys feel responsive and snappy and the sound it makes is an auditory pleasure. Note: This is not a keyboard to use when youre laying in bed next to your sleeping significant other. Setup was a breeze. I connected the USB-C Cable to my mac mini and it was instantly recognized. Hold Function (Fn) and either Q,W, or E to assign a bluetooth device, or Function (Fn) R to switch the keyboard to 2.4Ghz mode with the included dongle. Having 4 different wireless profiles allows this keyboard to be used with nearly all your devices. The RGB is a nice touch. The keyboard has plenty of adjustability for brightness, pattern, speed, key cap color, and background color. I dont think ill ever go back to a non backlit non mechanical keyboard ever again. The only gripe i have is the volume slider. its smooth but feel like it has too much travel when adjusting the volume. My Mac will hit 100% volume when the slider is moved quickly to the halfway mark. Not a deal breaker and technically its functional.

Clickity clackity sounds that are satisfying. Responsive keys, multiple ways to connect to devices, quick switches to move from one OS to another, RGB, small but functional and comfortable form factor... what more can you ask for? Such a wonderful compact keyboard. Though I do prefer my keyboards to have the number pad included off to the right, I gave this a chance and its impressive. What I really like is that you can pack this up and take it anywhere if you are someone thats on the road a lot and want more flexibility for typing rather than having a hot box on your lap. Great keyboard overall.

The Mechanical Keyboard, 65% Low Profile Wireless Gaming Keyboard with Red Switch is a great mechanical keyboard. The feel of the mechanical keys is more satisfying than the newer style flat keyboards. I use a Mac and appreciate there is a simple switch to change between Mac and PC. I dont especially like the orange keys, but I knew what I was getting so no loss of a star.

Probably a great choice if you still want the feel of a mechanical keyboard in something with a much more portable profile. Volume control is convenient, but not the greatest in terms of tactile feel. Nice overall styling and decent battery life.

This is a good option if you are looking for a very thin, light, reduced layout mechanical keyboard. The small footprint of this keyboard is great for ergonomics and portability. It is not only a smaller size as far as layout goes, but the low profile means that your fingers will do much less work to press each key. This keyboard uses linear red switches, which means very smooth keystrokes. The keys are also very stable. If the keys are not stable, when you press them, they wobble and it makes typing much less satisfying. They used good stems on the keys to make sure that the keys feel very secure when you press them. The keyboard has RGB backlighting which is controlled using FN combinations. You dont need any additional driver software installed to use the advanced functions of this keyboard. That is great, because that means that there is no need for running drivers that can cause conflicts with other software, or that hog system resources. I have to say, after using several other mechanical keyboards that operate lighting and other features with key combinations, this keyboard has the most sensible combinations I have come across. In addition, everything is labeled on the keycaps so you wont have to worry about remembering every function or having to keep the manual handy. The keyboard itself is made from an aluminum alloy, and comes with a USB-C cable with an attached holder for the 2.4Ghz receiver. I love this design choice as a lot of these wireless mechanical keyboards dont have any good storage to keep the receiver handy when you need it. It also comes with a manual. The keyboard has easy operation...it has a Windows/Mac switch and a wireless, wired switch. You can use the 2.4Ghz receiver or Bluetooth 5.0 to connect the keyboard wirelessly. You switch between wired modes with an FN combination. There is a volume slider on the top of the left side of the keyboard. The slider is not as precise as a volume knob, but it works very well for adjusting volume. This keyboard is super light. It is not plate-mounted, so it is not going to have the extra heft or stability of a plate mount, but it is going to be much lighter for it. Also, the keys will not ping, and will be even quieter. The RGB lighting actually shines through the keycaps on this mechanical keyboard, which is what I prefer for working later. The keycaps feel like ABS, but then that is likely why the lighting can shine through the keycaps. PBT keys feel better but dont work well with RGB backlighting. I love this keyboard. The only real issue I have with it is the price. For what you are getting the price seems a little high. There are some similar layout keyboards that do cost less. That said, I really like this keyboard for my mobile setup. It is so light and works so well that I think it is worth it.
