Greater than one weekPreviously I used the clear gel pulling lube. If I left the gel on the wire because I couldnt pull wire immediately, the gel would dry out and become useless. In contrast, this wonderful wax pulling lube keeps working for a long time, and seems more slippery in the conduit as well. From now on, I will always use wax pulling lube and throw away the bottle of clear gel.

19-11-2024This goop has just the right level of squirt-ability and makes a tough wire pull much easier. I used it with pulling 5 #12 wires into 1/2 thinwall emt and could not have made it without it. As the label says, it dries to a nearly non existent residue and clean up is very easy. I dropped it everywhere and it does not leave a mark. The bottle is easy to squeeze and I recommend this highly.

> 3 dayI was able to push 12 feet of thick direct-burial Cat6 cable through a 1/2 flexible PVC conduit using this stuff, by adding a squirt every foot or so. Talcum powder also works, but it is so much messier!

> 3 dayThis made pulling wire GODLY. I tried pulling wire without this for a little while but oh my god this is so much easier. The lube wipes off relatively easily.

> 3 dayI was pulling some additional data cable through a roughly 50% filled conduit with almost the maximum number of bends, and having some real trouble. Pulling with all my strength (and Im far from a little guy) wasnt budging the cable after a couple of tight bends. So I thought Id try this stuff. Holy cow. My tiny wife couldve pulled this, no problem. Ive since used it on wires for real electricity as well as the low volt stuff, and Im not sure how in the heck I got by before. It takes barely any of the stuff to make a night-and-day difference. I usually hate getting stuff on my hands like antifreeze or grease, but this really isnt even terribly annoying - it wipes right off of me and the wire well enough that I dont feel like Im greasing up everything I touch for the rest of the day. If youre pulling wire through bent or populated conduit and are wondering if you need this... Yes, you need it.
