Perspective mode is fantastic for spotting cribs and other cover, plus suspended fish over deeper water, but that requires adding a perspective mode mount. Down and forward view are great for seeing fish near the bottom or close to cover. Youll want to take some time to experiment with different settings, but youll definitely learn more about the waters you explore and the fish in them.

Ive used a Garmin Livescope a bunch of times, decided to buy one of my own. Its really cool being able to see not only the approximate size of the fish, but even the species (if its large enough). You can drop the hook to the bottom and avoid dealing with tiny sauger, etc.
