Garmin 010-02541-10 fenix 7X Sapphire Solar,Larger adventure smartwatch, Solar Charging Capabilities, rugged outdoor GPS watch, touchscreen, wellness features, Carbon Gray DLC Titanium with Black Band

This is my first smart watch, so Im assuming the small issues I have with it are user error, and not actually something wrong with the watch.

This smartwatch is actually a computer, between all the fitness features, outdoor activity profiles and applications, this watch is surely to meet and exceed your expectations. Ive been wearing my for almost two months now, and came from two previous Garmin devices (instinct and the Vivoactive 4), and always liked the ruggedness of the instinct but with the features, watch faces an touch screen of the Vivoactive 4, and after reading a lot about all the devices in Garmin line, I seriously evaluated buying an Enduro, an instinct 2 or a tactix. What I wanted was the battery life of the Enduro, the ruggedness of the instinct 2 and the activity profiles and looks of the tactix. Let me tell you, this Garmin 7x sapphire solar, has it all, Im very happy with my decision.

I recommend the forerunner 955 instead. This is certainly a more upscale watch in terms of physical look and material, but makes it difficult to wear because of its size and weight. The forerunner series seems to have nearly the same features in a more comfortable fit. Check both out if unsure.

Great watch

I came from using the Apple Watch series 4. I got tired of having to charge it every day, and very tired of it dying on long training days for triathlon. This watch definitely lasts a couple of weeks between charges, and I leave it in full battery consumption mode With all the smart watch features turned on. The only thing I miss from the Apple Watch is having Siri set timers for me, take phone calls, and dictate texts. The benefits to switching to this watch are many. My favorite parts are the external sensor connections, extensive fitness data metrics, sleep tracking, suggested workouts, suggested recovery, useful flash light, etc, etc.
