18-11-2024After looking at a million reviews about this watch versus the Mk1 and Mk2, I decided to get the Mk2i. Unfortunately just after I got it, we had a new wave of COVID hit our country and we went into lockdown. So...I will need to test at a later date. :(. Battery life says about 15 days (just normal use). Mobile app (Dive) is okay...its getting a bit confusing which app to use since I have the Quatix 3, Fenix 5x and now the Descent Mk2i.

> 3 dayI’ve had my MK2i for a few months and logged 16 dives with it. The dive app with AI is amazing for logging your dives and showing a timeline of PSI per minute, depth over time, HR, pulse Ox, and water temp. It genuinely helps you be a better diver by keeping your head in the game on descent rates, ascent rates and NDL easily displayed and easily navigated. I’m a new diver with the money to spend on gear that will last a long time so I see many years of use out of this watch and transmitter and couldn’t be happier. I was on the fence because of the price but so happy I pulled the trigger.

22-11-2024I bought this watch as I am developing the mid life problem that is short-sightedness and could no longer read the dial of my dive watch. up to now I had 3 watches - a day watch, Dive computer and a fitness tracker for sport. When I saw this I took the plunge to try to combine all 3. I am very impressed.

> 3 dayThis thing is absolutely amazing! Enormous battery life and collects data for days. The features aren’t super intuitive but after a few hours of messing around with it you are able to really zero in on how you want your watch to operate for you. It has a very large face which may look strange but it wears very well and is nice for ease of data viewed. I’m a very sensitive sleeper and I don’t even notice it’s on while sleeping. So far I’m blown away.

> 3 dayUsed this on a number of casual (air, 25m max) dives and so far I am impressed. Its a good dive computer with better connectivity and export features than some of the Mares devices I had used before. Having a GPS on the dive computer is nice for entry/exit points and the APNEA functionality work well. Display is easy to read at the surface and in the water.

> 3 dayBattery life is fantastic compared to other smart watches and dive computers. Very easy to read display in watch mode and dive mode. Love the fact that I can monitor air of my kids and other dive buddies. Bought the titanium band to make this the perfect dress watch as well. Hundreds of watch face options. Highly highly highly recommend.

Greater than one weekI loved the watch, I used it on a few dives and it did great. However, the Start button fell off randomly.... Not sure how the button on the outside just fell off, but when paying this much for the watch, id expect a little better craftsmanship.

> 3 dayI just purchased this watch and dove The Great Blue Hole, and followed it up with spelunking in caves it worked great in both cases. A easy quick setup for air type and user specifics and you are ready to go. Very well designed!
