I like the touch screen. It works like a charm (even with gloves)....very EASY TO PROGRAM. All things work seamless incuding Garmin varia lights, cadence counters, etc. Super easy to add other devices. The maps and navigation are excellent. Kinda pricey when compared to the 530, but I think you will be glad you spent the extra $ to get the 830. The only small inconvenience is the start/stop button on the bottom of the unit.

Terrific Garmin quality, had a 530, gave it to my son so I could move up to the touchscreen 830. Good visibility in bright sunshine, pairs perfectly with my FR235 for HR and Strava.

Only used a couple of times so far but has been really quite useful. Quick map updates and lets you know about upcoming turns in plenty of time. A good tool so far

Use for mostly power based training with power meter and AXS integration, ride tracking, heart rate data, distance, elevation etc. Tons of features like starred strava segment pop ups, real time climb data with graphics, pop up segment tracking against best time, interval training lap data etc. Lots of screen choices-up to 10 data points. Not touch screen so you need to familiarize yourself with navigation the various menus to get to what you need.

I have owned many Garmin cycling computer products over the years and they have all proved to be solid and long-lasting. I bought this unit to replace a Garmin Touring GPS that would not connect to my phone so changing routes while on a tour was a challenge. This new 830 unit has that added functionality. The one issue that came up and appears to be fairly widespread is pairing the Garmin with your iPhone 11 running iOS 13. I tried for several hours with no success. I finally hooked the Garmin to my Mac through Garmin Express software and did a software update on the GPS unit and all worked great after that. It would appear that the newer version of the Garmin GPS software addresses this issue, but the unit I had was shipped with the older software installed.

Fairly easy to use. Has a lot of options to it. I use for bicycling. Battery (rechargeable) last for many hours. Easy to read and mount on my bike and the sensors are easy to use. Makes keeping up with my bike ride information a breeze

El tamaño es perfecto para leer con claridad la pantalla, la duración de la batería es muy buena para un largo paseo, una gran cantidad de datos y estadísticas y muy ligero… definitivamente, lo compraría de nuevo.
