Garmin Forerunner 920XT Quick Release Kit

Good design and very durable. Have bought two will by again when needed.

I was skeptical about this mount because I had read reviews that suggested that the mount was loose. After installing it on my watch band and bicycle handlebars, I can confirm that this mount is rock solid! When engaging the watch into the mounts on either the band or the handlebars, the watch face locks into place very smoothly with a satisfying click to let you know that it is locked. It feels very secure during runs, rides and swims. The mount does raise the watch off of your wrist by about 4mm (making a large watch even larger), but that isnt a large detriment.

Exactly what you would expect from a Garmin product. Easy to install, comes with everything you need. It does feel a bit awkward at first because it raises the height of the watch from your wrist but you get use to it. Security mounts once locked in place. 3 full IRONMANs and Ive never worried about my watch once using this kit.

Molto soddisfatto sia su montaggio al polso che si bici: ti permette velocemente di passare in modalità corsa o bici. Unico lato negativo che al polso lorologio di alza, ed essendo già di grandi dimensioni aumenta ancora in altezza, però comunque portabile senza grosse scomodità. Consegna abbastanza veloce.

This thing is brilliant. If you are a cyclist and have a 920XT (which is still probably one of the best, albeit ugliest cycling watches out there), just buy it. You have no idea what you are missing trying to look at your wrist rather than your handlebar stem. The trademark Garmin rubber bands are totally sketch, but the thing is, they work and are durable.

Great for races, but very bulky for day to day use. Hard to justify the effort of changing the strap for all but major races.

The small silver bars that slide through the watch break very easily...would advise being careful when turning the screws. Other than that I really like it!

It definitely serves its purpose (fits Forerunner 920XT) and Im confident it would hold up well, it just made the watch so tall that I couldnt stand it. It wouldnt bother me if I was only wearing the Forerunner 920XT during workouts but wearing it full time just made me feel like I had a Batman gadget on my wrist or something. If you have big arms/wrists, it might not be as noticeable, and you could probably pull it off. The 920XT gets caught on long sleeves occasionally on its own and would be a pain in the butt with the quick release kit.
