Garmin Garmin Replacement Band - Black/Red

My dads watch band broke and it was up to me to fix it. So I ordered it online (Ive order the wrong one a few times because it was not the right design so please double check!) and it worked. Took less than 5 minutes I watched a YouTube video (Eveyln from the internets) while doing it.

Excellent replacement

I bought this for a backup for my newest Garmin. I bought a spare band for my last Garmin. Which I did indeed have to replace after a number of years of use. Im sure the band on my new Garmin wont last as long as the watch itself.

Everything you need to replace your band. Fits perfectly, easy to do.

Tricky to install but the strap is good.

Just like the original band, glad I got it. My original was dry rotting, and the loop for the band broke off after 4 years.

It was nice that the replacement watch band came with the necessary tools and instructions to remove the old and attach the new.

Ive now had two Garmin wristbands for my Forerunner. Both had the same problem...they broke after about a year of use. The rubber they use for the band is too stiff and doesnt flex well, so when you bend the band backwards slightly when putting it on, it starts to crack. After a while it breaks completely. Luckily, when mine finally broke, it happened when I was sleeping. Otherwise, it might have fallen off out on the road and I could have lost my watch. Add to that, it is pricey, and I strongly suggest you find an alternative to this band. I got one for half the price that is much better.

If youre like me, you really like your Garmin 220. If you need a new band,go with this one. Unless you have some of the tiniest torx screwdrivers youve ever seen, i cant imagine how one would go about replacing it without the tools provided. My old band was original, lasting 6 years, this is an exact replacement from Garmin. It took about 90 seconds to do both sides.
