> 3 dayThese Garmin connectors are life savers for tough to wire situations where you need to thread through hole first then replace the head. High quality design is provided as usual by Garmin, with shielded sleeve grounding tab. It’s not a through head connector but can be crimped easily with professional Cat5e crimper

Greater than one weekItem works very well with Garmin network cable. One must be careful to ensure the wire colors are in the correct order when inserting into the RJ45 connector. Also, Garmin network cables are configured for crossover, so one end is different than the other. Save old connector and use as model for making the new connector.

> 3 dayThese are high quality OEM garmin connectors. They are designed for shielded cable. Hindsight I think I’d just order the Garmin cable but I was concerned with passing the cable through my deck. FYI you do not need a crossover cable to connect a Echomap 106SV directly to a Echomap plus 73CV. Standard T586B works fine.

Greater than one weekYou will need an ethernet cable crimping tool for this. Its fairly tricky to get all the wires aligned and into the correct slots.

Greater than one weekOverpriced for what it is. But, if you want a cable with the original type strain relief, it will work. Definitely overpriced. And Garmin should have built the factory ends to be removable like in this kit. No one wants to drill a massive hole to pass this through a deck or bulkhead.

> 3 dayThe Garmin network uses Cat 6 or 7 network cables. The cable end connectors have a partial metal sleeve around them, which connects via the ground/drain wire to the end on the other end of the cable. There is a lot of Cat 5 cable out there that will NOT work on the garmin network. But for sure, these ends, with the right cable, and you can make your own cables in custom lengths and wont have to buy the garmin cables.
