> 24 hourVery sensitive GPS receiver and some great features, easy to see screen, waterproof. Garmin claims the GMRS radio is repeater-capable however it is missing most of the DCS codes which means it is NOT fully repeater-capable. DO NOT buy this unit if your intent is to use it with GMRS repeaters until Garmin gets with the program and fixes it. Not impressed.

> 24 hourI bought the 755t thinking it would be a major improvement over my previous Rino 120 and 530 series radios. I was disappointed that it didnt deliver what was advertised. While I like the combined radio/gps unit at the core of the Rino series I wonder why Garmin hasnt incorporated an emergency SAT message system of some sort into the unit. The core GPS/radio appears unchanged and the lithium battery does provide longer operating time. The touch screen while an improvement over the toggle could be an inch longer and a 1/4 wider. Screen resolution is very poor compared to any smart phone. The interface is not intuitive and can be summed up as cumbersome and slow. The real test came on a remote 7 day hunt. The topo contours are not the standard 40 foot USGS standard but a watered down 150 interval and not very useful. The camera function would be great however when I used it on my unit it locked up the screen. I had to remove and install the battery to reboot it. Additionally, at the end of one day I had turned off the unit to conserve battery power but when I turned it on it locked up...no buttons functioned and the screen merely illuminated with the GARMIN boot screen. It left me in the dark with no guidance (even after remove/replace battery) and I ended up using my Silva magnetic compass to get me back to camp. Rino is a great concept that I wish Garmin would work out the bugs on before placing on the market.

> 24 hourThe radio communication is exceptionally hit or miss, and the range is not even close to the claimed 20 miles. Additionally, the ability to get the location of other users, which was the main reason I purchased this, works only occasionally and not in a helpful way. Wouldn’t purchase.

> 24 hourThere are no good instructions, I am no tech geek. My husband and I purchased to replace our old rino’s The one with the funky charging clip that kept get lost or broken and Garmin quite making. The 755t still has a proprietary charger, not a standard usb. It is advertised as being sunlight readable and that is not working for me. You tube doesn’t even have god instruction videos. It is not intuitive to move between the functions. I wish I could charge my old rhino
