> 24 hourI spent nearly a year debating spending this kind of money but I’ve been wearing it every day for a few weeks and I am beyond happy. I bought a separate band (FDE) and I love that too.

> 24 hourGarmin really failed to accurately describe the acceptable maximum girth (circumference - length) of a persons wrist. See photos of closed strap @ 210mm or 21cm. The remaining strap is too stiff and far too short to safely engage the first loop to ensure the buckle does not open. Had Garmin added 1 cm to the strap length it looks like it would safely engage the first loop. Why include a buckle hole if the strap is too short to work properly? The result of course for inadequate length is potentially losing a $2000 watch. Garmin couldnt get the basics right so a customer can use the product. Instead incompetence results in Amazon, vendor and customer wasting time and money. Granted the retailer did not specify strap length (would be smart thing to do) but in order to do this they need accurate information. Big Fail on the basic fundamental of a proper fitting strap. Refund took forever well outside of agreed terms

> 24 hourHoping to upgrade from an Instinct. The screen was unreadable in 99% of all situations unless you hit the button to turn the back light on. Attempted to use raise arm gesture as a workaround but it was eating the battery. The color on the screen was so washed out it left me wondering if the advertising is misleading at best. The vibration alert was also inop on the unit I received. I potentially got a bad unit but if quality control is that bad on a $1k item Ill pass. Back to the Instinct. They need to make a Fenix/Tactix e-ink model.

> 24 hourO yeah I said it this is the Man watch, WELL BEYOND any other out there, and I have had many from G-Shocks MUD RESIST too Citizens Titanium ECO DRIVE/DIVE, all pretty top notch not to mention the SUUNTO 7, eeeh okay but, not the same even close to this GARMIN Mil Spec Tatix!! Super bad azz... Works as stated on POINT it was with in 2.6 meters on trac back.. Love the Plethora of Manly features, watch faces that it has built in, not sure why you would need a third party FACE, Garmin has every one you would possibly need built in already, soooo NIce love it It is Miles even from the predecessors like the the cheaper plastic Garmins, dont get me wrong I have owned the lesser models from Garmin, the solar Tactical in forest dark green, and the pixelated version solar, both were of Wow quality, but this Tatix, is woop azz.... Still way out priced, I may add, but at this point I am at a draw at the G price tag, it pretty much even does all the Montana 700I does, W T F really, yes on this amazing PIECE!!!!! I would say at 800 they would go like hot cakes on a cold Christmas morning.. And being in color, WOW!!!
