Gator MicroZip Sander Kit, Assorted Grits

I got for my husband for Christmas. He had never seen this before and completely loves it! Great for detail work and very comfortable to hold in your hand.

This thing fits in your hand well. It’s small enough to get in tight spots and big enough to do edges. Conforms to shapes easily. I’ve been using to round over edges. Monkey Fart.

I used this on Victorian era trim. The only con is the sand paper provided didnt last long. I ended us using multi-tool sand paper. It folds around the edges of the gator and basically turns this item into a small sanding block that you can change the paper on when it wears out.

Feels good in the hand and the sandpaper last a long time.

These little sanders are great for sanding in smaller areas where you need detail and control. I use them for finish sanding cabinet doors I build to eliminate swirl marks from power sanding. Power sanding always leaves some swirl marks that are highlighted by staining and to get a really nice, swirl free finish, you really need to finish sanding by hand. These are by far the best little detail sanders Ive ever used.
