GE 60W 60 Watt Replacement Daylight LED 8 Pack

These are honestly life-changing! My bathroom is small and sad, without windows and having a 1970s vanity/light fixture I cant replace because Im currently renting. I assumed the yellow tinge that cast a depressing sickly glow over the bathroom was the light fixture itself-perhaps forever stained as I tried cleaning but no, it was the bulbs. Always was. Anyway, these are fantastic & bright and beautiful. I can see clearly now - the yellow is gone!

I hope that the payoff in in longevity. The bulbs are bright, easy to install and color is spot on. They seem a bit pricey.

I have had a few LED bulbs over the years and my initial observations were good, but not great. The light output was fine, and the bulbs were super light compared to the heavy and older GE variants. The reason I chose these bulbs was for a no non-sense replacement to Phillips Hue bulbs which I found died within a year or two of use. My hope is that the longevity of these bulbs will be much longer. My main issue with these bulbs compared to other non-dimmable LED bulbs I have owned is that they are very sensitive to voltage fluctuations. Old-school incandescent lights and explicitly dimmable LEDs lights usually have this problem but this is my first experience with a non-dimmable LED bulb being so sensitive. For instance, if your A/C kicks on and drops the voltage for a bit, these blubs will flicker. If you have a device that thats on the same outlet or circuit such as a heater, these bulbs will flicker. I thought with LED bulbs this type of behavior would be a thing of the past, but I wonder if GE got a little cheap here and decided to leave out a capacitor in which is present in older models and their competition. That being said, the flicking issue during voltage fluctuation isnt enough for me to return them seeing as the value and the rest of the operation is acceptable. If they last longer than the Hue bulbs, Ill be happy. But seeing as they do have this quirk, Ill probably look for a different model/brand during my search process to avoid this little annoyance.

They all worked and are perfect for those spots where the 100 watt equivalent LED were too bright.

I love these bulbs but not happy with the way they arrived - there were two boxes inside of the big box , the inside 2 boxes were all mashed up but the outside wasn’t damaged. The bottom of all 12 individual boxes were damaged. The bulbs were not broken but I dont know if they are damaged in the inside. I’m debating on whether to return abs get replacement.

These flicker, and seem cheap. Maybe a knockoff, who knows. From now on, Ill only buy bulbs at the store.
