> 3 dayLove that each socket can be programmed independently of each other. I have some year round lights that I plug into the right outlet. And holiday lights that I plug into the left. I like to leave the year round lights on longer than the holiday lights. With this I no longer have to use two separate timers

> 3 dayLove this! I needed a solution for my outdoor spa in back yard (on large concrete slab 30 feet from house. Works like a charm and waterproof. We love the east on and off with Alexa devices “Alexa, turn on spa lights”

> 3 dayI tried both the seamless home install and the linked device setup and neither worked. For the seamless setup, Google home can see it but the install fails every time. If you go to the Google home troubleshooting page for it, it says if this happens with a GE Csync device, to install in their app first and try. Its a great sign that Google has to add this to their docs but ok. I was able to get this setup in the Cync app successfully. Then you click the link in the app to integrate this with the Google home service. It requires your username and password to Cync to allow access. After entering it, it just hangs and does nothing. I tried multiple factory resets, moved it indoors next to my router and a Google home hub to see if it helped. Nothing did. For context I have roughly 50 smart devices at my home. I have Orbi 2.4 and 5ghz wifi with 3 satellites and 2gbps fiber internet. I am a software architect that builds services like this every day so this is not my first rodeo with setting these types of things up. This device is either defective or has an install process so fragile that it is going to be a nightmare when Google pushes out an update. I expected more which is why I went with a GE product instead of something else. After spending 2 hours trying to get this integrated with Google home, I finally gave up and returned it.

> 3 dayWorks but just barely. Atleast on IOS this is a pass. Constantly having to connect. Better off going over and turning the lights off yourself.

> 3 daySetting up the plugs in the cync app is easy and they work great. The problems lies with setting it up with alexa. I was only able to get 1 side on 2 plugs working. It is almost like alexa gets confused with it. I even had the plug replaced and it did the same thing with all three plugs. Basically I am only able to control one outlet on each plug because alexa cannot find the second outlet on the plugs. I also spent plenty of time on the phone with both GE and Amazon alexa support. Neither know what is happening or how to fix it.

> 3 dayFunctionally this works great. Quite a bit of work to setup with the Alexa app, then it won’t stay connected. It works great with the GE Cync app, showing connected in Cync, but showing unresponsive in Alexa 50% of the time.

> 3 dayUpdated review: The plug works perfectly with another wireless router. I worked with GE support and found it is something with the Netgear wireless router I have. So updated to 5 stars since it really works as advertised. Below is what I ran into with the Netgear Nighthawk RAX45 wireless router that I have. Worked find with a Comcast (Netgear) router, and Cisco. The Wifi keeps dropping off and once it loses connection, it will not reconnect unless you power the whole device down then back up. After that it will work for maybe a couple of hours before it loses connection again. It has the latest firmware as of this writing per the cync app. It worked well for three weeks, at that time I only had one device plugged into it. Recently I plugged a second device in and that is when the errors started happening I think. Not sure if it is 100% related but that was the only change.

> 3 dayIt works great and as intended, but needs to be unplugged and plugged in about once a month to reconnect.

Greater than one weekUPDATE- Tired of it not turning of my lights as programmed/scheduled it works when it wants to. Time for me to go back to a more reliable smart plug. Waste of money. It gives me problems every now and than and im trying to work with it but one more time and away it will go. I had a Google plug before I purchased this and it never gave me any problems but it wasnt a outdoor plug so i purchased this one to be safe. Not as reliable as my Google switch.

> 3 dayI recently purchased the GE CYNC Outdoor Smart Plug, and while the setup process was a bit challenging, the end result was definitely worth the effort! This smart plug offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, making it a convenient and versatile addition to my outdoor devices. Setting up the GE CYNC Outdoor Smart Plug was a bit more involved than I had anticipated. The instructions were not as clear as I would have liked, and I encountered some difficulties in connecting the plug to my home network. However, with some patience and persistence, I was able to get it up and running after a few attempts. Once connected, the convenience of being able to control my outdoor devices remotely using my smartphone was impressive. One of the standout features of the GE CYNC Outdoor Smart Plug is its dual connectivity options. The Bluetooth functionality allows me to control the plug directly from my smartphone when I am in close proximity to it, making it perfect for quick on/off control without needing an internet connection. The Wi-Fi connectivity, on the other hand, provides me with remote control options from anywhere using my home network, which is extremely convenient when I am away from home or want to schedule specific on/off times for my outdoor devices. The versatility of the GE CYNC Outdoor Smart Plug is also noteworthy. It has two outlets, allowing me to connect and control multiple devices simultaneously. This has been particularly useful for my outdoor string lights and my garden fountain, as I can now easily turn them on and off at specific times or even control them with voice commands through my smart home system. Once set up, the performance of the GE CYNC Outdoor Smart Plug has been reliable. The connection has remained stable, and I have experienced no issues with dropped connections or malfunctioning. The plug has also held up well to outdoor conditions, as it is weather-resistant and designed to withstand the elements. In conclusion, despite the initial setup challenges, the GE CYNC Outdoor Smart Plug has proven to be a valuable addition to my outdoor devices. The combination of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, versatility, and reliable performance has made it a convenient and practical smart plug for controlling my outdoor devices. If you are willing to put in the effort during setup, the GE CYNC Outdoor Smart Plug is definitely worth considering for your outdoor smart home needs.
