But way too bright. Did not come close to the 40 watt amber style bulbs we were replacing after they burned out. Ended up finding direct replacements on Ebay. Saved these for emergencies.

It works no problems puts off an amber light it looks like it could be used as an outside bug light

The bulb came very well packaged. It is a high quality bulb and I feel much better putting a brand that I know in my home that has a great reputation. Would highly reccommend.
