Inaccurate description as these lightbulbs are not dimmable. Tried different lamps with three brightness settings and nothing.

They are the right brightness and color, and they dim without any flicker. Anyone saying they dont dim is probably doing something wrong... Because the controller for ceiling fan light dimmers usually have a setting for the type of lamp used. Wall dimmers usually dont. However... If you look at the shape of the bulb, the bottom third of the round part is solid plastic. This might not matter for some applications, but in my case it leads to uneven lighting for my stair lights (see pic). Its fine for now, but eventually Ill need to find a more suitable bulb.

Ordered these to replace all the old incandescent and curly CFL bulbs we had. Seemed like a no brainer. Saving money by reducing the wattage on all the replaced bulbs and now all have a uniform and consistent soft white appearance. Very happy.
