This speaker wire should be very durable since it is rated for in wall use. The speaker wire I replaced had clear insulation and was badly corroded. It was in a very dry area, so I suspect the clear insulation caused the problem.

Good heavy speaker wire stranded. I had to run all new wire in A 2010 Town Care Signature L because the radio is wired through an onboard amplifier and no one makes a harness to bypass it. It has a 113 wheelbase so I wanted a covered wire, takes up more space behind the dash but makes it easy to run through the door bellows, 100% OF copper!

Best quality/value copper stranded wire I could find. Ideal for in wall use. Bought to install in-wall speakers in living room. Couldn’t find anything negative about it

OK ,I just read another review stating the same issue I had . I bought a roll of 250ft (12awg) . Which once it got to me(in Brazil) it was completely unspooled . I can understand Customs may have opened up the spool(center) to check the void area for things that should not be there . But all the wire was off the spool which made for a lot of work to use it and get it installed . HUGE PITA, which the company needs to FIX . Trying to find the start and end points of the wire was a job in its self . I cant recommend buying this if your looking at buying a long run of wire . Youll spend a few hours getting it ready to use . Who needs that ? Not me .So unless they change what the spool is made (Ive bought some wire that had metal with CCA wire or even plastic would be better) of,, I would not do it again . Better paying more $$$ and receiving a roll of wire that is ready to use . Im not wire expert ,so I cant address some of the other issues posted as to the wrote gauge . It was normal other wise . Nothing stood out about the wire or the outer insolation . that was ok with mine . But consider some other brand which ,imo will save time(= $$$) , I will, next time I need wire ,which will be next year

The wire is heavy and thick. You know it has copper in it. Sound quality is good. Not sure how much better the quality reproduced is compared to a standard 14mm speaker wire if less than 20ft in distance. But I am happy with the purchase. Will return to buy again as I will be setting up another system in the living room upstairs next year.
