This cable was perfect for my use. I ordered two different sizes. The 12 AWG was used for my front tower speaker and center Def Tech 8060 and has excellent quality on the sound. Then I used the 14 AWG fr the rest of my system, I did like that besides the white cover of protection on the inside each cable (right and left) are each one individually covered too with red and black. Cable is flexible and not hard wire like I have seen before. I used it in my living room for my surround speakers through dry wall and delivers great quality also did use for outdoor rock speakers as well. I felt the protection of the cable could handle Florida weather for out side but I still added a cover to be 100% secure.

This speaker wire was perfect for my project! entire system review. I finally decided to do a complete system update on my old Chaparral boat. A tape deck just didnt cut it anymore. But it all came together great. The amp powers my 4 kickers perfectly. I did have a small problem with the amp with the remote relay cutting the power off the amp when the radio turned off. The radio still has a small voltage of 5v on the remote wire when in off mode. This 5v was still enough to not let this amp shut off, but the subwoofer amp that was in parallel using a fused distribution block did not have same problem. I overcame this problem using a simple 12v dc ice cube relay block... it dropped all my voltage at both amps when radio was off. Im very happy with my Rockville products and the sound quality is amazing. Perfect for my 18 boat. Had to buy a new Optima 750cca battery though to replace older battery.. that cost more than my system. Still being on the lake today with that big smile on my face made up for all the hard work and money!

Nice quality wire for long draws for 9.2 home theater. Maybe Im old fashioned but I still prefer a hard wire installation for high quality 6-8 ohm speakers. This wire did the trick nicely for 80 ft. drops into 6 ohms. One trick Id recommend is to unravel the wire before use as the coils and thickness of this brand leave the wire curled. While I normally use 6-8 gauge wire for these length drops - I have not noticed any signal degradation.

This wire replaces generic speaker wire that was probably installed when the house was built. Very flexible because of the wire construction but because of the alterations to the listening environment it would be impossible to comment on the acoustic difference, however because of the quality of the speakers and wire used in this application I am pleased with the results and have had several compliments on the sound that is produced with this combination.

I recently did some renovations and had an opportunity to run all of my wires through walls and ceilings. I bought the 250 roll of this wire for my 5.1.2 setup and used most of it. The wire itself seems to be of good quality and was easy to work with. The spool that it came on was another story. As others have mentioned, it is not of high quality and promptly fell apart which led to the wire becoming tangled. If they could fix that, this would be a five-star product across the board.

This is OFC wire, meaning pure copper (Oxygen-Free Copper) instead of copper-plated aluminum (CCA, or Copper Clad Aluminum). This is a great price for 12 gauge OFC wire, and it is exactly as advertised. Works great. I used this with Banana Plugs (Monoprice 109436; also a great value) and it worked just perfectly; secure without being impossible to install. I am giving 5 starts for maneuverability, but bear in mind that this is 12 AWG wire which means it will have plenty of stiffness to it. Still, its not nearly as bad as working with 10 AWG or 8 AWG wire and most people wont have any issues.

100ft is actually 50ft since it’s double conductor. Which is miss leading and wasting time.
