Does the job pretty well, some cleaners are able to clean in one wash but this one sometimes takes 2. Not a major issue but its not a perfect 5/5.

I use this to clean my makeup brushes and love it. I am on my 4th jar, have been using this for years.

I bought this for cleaning makeup brushes, so keep that in mind. This works as a decent brush cleaner. It definitely cleaned my brushes, though it required a few dips to clean the bigger powder brushes. It doesn’t really lather up like some soaps do, nor does it really have a scent. But it gets the job done! I found wetting the brush, then swirling it on the pan, and then using your fingers to really work the soap in is the best way to get the denser brushes nice and clean. You may have to repeat the steps 2 or 3 times for the really big and dense powder brushes. All in all, this works just as well as much more expensive makeup brush cleaners. I expect this to last me quite a while. But when it does run out I will definitely repurchase.

I cant tell you how many brushes I have thrown out over the years that this product possibly could have saved. Which in turn would have saved me a lot of money on new ones. I have only used this with acrylic paint, so I cant say anything about other mediums, but the photos of the before and after for my brushes speak for themselves. They were in much worse condition before I remembered to photograph them as well. I cleaned every brush I owned afterwards as well, because they felt totally different. So I cleaned some I didnt feel needed to be and let me just say the difference in those brushes was immediate as well. This product is like conditioner for the fibers, making them soft and smooth to the touch. Once I run out of this product I will buy it again, because I now see it as a necessity when its time to clean them.
