Genuine E3D Hardened Steel Nozzle V6 (1.75mm) 0.40mm (V6-NOZZLE-HS-175-400)

This is a good hardened nozzle I bought for carbon filament. I was afraid the original brass nozzle I had would be worn away by the abrasive carbon running through the nozzle. Ive been using this nozzle on every type of filament I own and had zero issues. Its a little pricey but real good quality.

This nozzle has been great so far.

This is not genuine, wanted to use on my printer with high temp materials and get constant clogs. The filament sticks to the surface.

I used to go through copper nozzles like mad. This hardened steel nozzle might be more pricey, but I havent had to worry about it as a point of failure since installing it. Highly recommended, especially if youre printing composites and carbon fiber materials.

I usually use this nozzle to print things like wood impregnated filaments or glittter or what have you. I have not tried anything like carbon or glass impregnated nylon yet, but I will likely get E3Ds new nozzle when I upgrade one of my machines to handle nylon.

This Nozzle has worked very well for me. Prints clean and reliably. Handles everything I put through it including abrasive CF material. Occasionally had to retighten, and had to add an extra 5° C to print settings to compensate for heat conduction being slightly less than brass.

Will def buy E3D nozzles again!

If you need a .4mm E3D hardened steel nozzle then this will do.

No complaints, in the same time that I had to go throu about 6 brass nozzles, this one is still printing like a champ even glow in the dark and wood materials

Works great. Wish it was cheaper
