Genuine Honda 22431-VL0-P01 Drive V-Belt

Nothing wrong with this item, hence why 5/5 stars HOWEVER… Another review said it would work for my mower, but it does not! This item is Part No 22431-VL0-P01 Made In USA 2921*. It was smaller length wise and in thickness than what I needed. Bought this thinking it would work on my Honda 21” 3-in-1 Variable Speed Gas Walk Behind Self Propelled Lawn Mower with Auto Choke (HRN216VKA) I purchased from Home Depot in 12/2020. My owners manual says my specific model is HRN216VKAA. If you have the same mower as me, you need Honda V Belt (3L-39.2) Part No 22431-VR8-N03 Made in Thailand. I ended up purchasing the correct replacement belt from a Honda car dealership’s parts department.

I was looking for drive belt for my Honda HRR self-propelled lawn mower after the original one had stretched out after years of use. I tried using after market belts to no avail; they were either too big or small. Needless to say; I had to use genuine Honda drive belt. Not only was the OEM drive belt was cheaper than the aftermarket belts; it was so much easier to install! There are plenty of YouTube tutorials on how to replace the drive belt available online. Not only did I save on the drive belt; I saved having to send my mower out to a small engine shop.

Genuine Honda part. Replaced the drive belt and adjusted drive mechanism. Ignore other reviews that state this belt locks up wheels. It is because they only replaced the belt and provided no further adjustments. You can’t complete half the job and expect great results. This belt replaces old worn and stretched belts. When installed properly your mower will run like new.

This belt is exactly what you need if yourself propel is not as strong as it used to be
